My flatmate recently moved out along with half of my household furniture. Choosing not to despair, I logged online to www.superamart.com to see what my meagre income could afford me.

Super Amart, affectionately known as the 'furniture, bedding and outdoor superstore', have 30 stores located throughout Queensland, Western Australia, South Australia, New South Wales and Victoria. They also host an online store for your convenience.

Originally planning to buy only a couple of items, I discovered the Super Amart package deals. Pre-chosen by professionals, the furniture packages are essentially a selection of furniture assembled together with the purpose of furnishing an entire bedroom, lounge room, dining room or combination of all three. Purchasing furniture through a package deal versus buying pieces individually grants you a substantial saving.

For example, I chose the Monza 10pce package deal. This particular package cost $998.00 from my local Oxley store (prices vary between store locations). After a little research, I uncovered that each product purchased individually would have cost me a total of $1299.70. That's a savings of over $300.00.

My bank account is looking better by the minute. Another benefit of Super Amart package deals are the design factor. If you're lacking skills in this department you no longer need to worry. Their packages are beautifully fashioned and arranged to make even the most amateur household owner or renter look stylish.

Super Amart's sale slogan is 'We will beat any LOWER price by 15%' (terms and conditions apply).

Keep a lookout in your mailbox for any Super Amart catalogues. They're delivered frequently throughout the year and often advertise discounts and sales on various furniture and household items. If there's a store near you, try dropping in instead of shopping online since it's known that a little price haggling with the sales staff may reduce the cost even more.
